    "content": "Thank you very much, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. I rise to support this Motion. I want to thank the Mover of this Motion, honourable Galgalo, for bringing it. I strongly support the Motion. It is high time that we had a Disaster Preparedness and Response Authority. What we need to do is to ensure that there is proper planning. The Government should, all the time, be in a position to act proactively rather than a knee-jerk sort of action. So, with an authority like that, we will be having well prepared and well trained personnel who can respond at the shortest time possible to the various disasters."
