In my legal mind, I do not think that the clarification that is being sought by the Member can be delivered without necessarily having to go into the conduct and to the performance of the functions of the Chief Justice. Secondly, you know the history of our current Chief Justice. When was being interviewed for the job, the issue of gay rights was a major issue. I do not think we can discuss or the Leader of Majority Party can clarify that without necessarily going into the conduct of the Chief Justice. I request your guidance on this matter."
