    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, on infrastructure, the public appreciates very much the efforts the Government is making on the ongoing expansion and enhancement of urban roads. However, there are areas and regions where there is no tarmac road at all. This negatively affects business and makes it difficult for farmers to transport their produce. The public were also concerned over the slow and poor quality of road works in some areas. The public recommends that there is need for affirmative action when it comes to resource allocation, so that areas without good roads receive a little higher percentage of total budgetary allocations for the road sector to be able to bring them at par. On railways, the public are concerned that the railway transport subsector has been left to degenerate and thus recommend that the rehabilitation of the existing railways network be extended to other areas and regions, so that the cost of transport of wananchi can come down."
