    "content": "We have talked about corruption and we are talking about the vice today. My fears are precipitated by the fact that the bodies that will control corruption effectively in this country are being downgraded by this Government. We have the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC). If you look at the pecking order, it has been placed far below there. We also have Parliament that plays the oversight role. You will realize that we had to struggle very hard in this House to even bring our salaries near an agreeable figure so that we could effectively stand against corruption."
