"content": "Having listened to contributions from all the other Members, we are missing a point. We are urging the Government to put in place mechanisms and measures to ensure that corruption is eradicated. Systems should be put in place. We are embracing technology in all institutions, but unless we change our mindset and address the issue of the culture that is engrained in the minds of Kenyans, then we will be fighting corruption in vain. First of all, we must accept that there is corruption, and must start by changing our thinking and our mindset. We should come up with regulations as mentioned by other hon. Members to support the Government to come up with the right mechanisms on how to address corruption. That way, we can fight corruption collectively. We should stop pointing fingers at each other. There are so many cases that we can refer to, but politicking about it will not address corruption. We need to accept that it exists, face it, come up with mechanisms and support the Government in fighting corruption. It is not for the Jubilee Government alone to fight corruption; it is about all of us and it starts with us leaders."
