    "content": "I request this honourable House to support this Motion, so that I can draw up a Bill in the next few months, and we liberalize distribution and retailing of power in this country. The Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) produces a lot of power but Kenya Power has failed to retail, distribute and transmit it to Kenyans. We have so many houses unconnected. Why should my television or any of my electronic gadgets get burnt because of a problem from Kenya Power? Kenya Power should compensate ordinary Kenyans when they suffer problems caused by their company."
