    "content": "The other day I was reading, and I hope that it is not correct that today there are governors who demand that when they leave their headquarters the roads are cleared 20 kilometres ahead of them. Where are we heading to if we will go this way? The main reason why Kenyans clamoured for the repealing of the Constitution that we had was to try to bring down the powers of the imperial presidency. However, we are devolving imperial presidency to the counties. I would like to tell this House that it is within us and we know what we need to do to amend the laws. I would also like to tell this House that we represent the people of Kenya while the Senate represents entities. We can talk to our people and we need to re-look at the powers of the governors."
