    "content": "Secondly, today I was reading in the newspapers and the Controller of Budget – and I want to thank her – has made it very clear that she is not going to give out money for purposes which are not destined for the functions of the county governments. We need to support her, so that she can only give monies that are supposed to be used for purposes of county functions. Recently, we had a crisis in Nakuru. I remember on 1st June when I went to the stadium for the Madaraka Day celebrations, I was heckled by a few people because I tried to talk about the governor and his MCAs. But I want to say that it was only the intervention of the President recently that has restored peace in Nakuru. I want to thank the President. He interceded when he came to open the agricultural show, for us to be able to--- I want to thank him for bringing some sanity."
