(a) The construction of Kirigiti-Kibichoi Road (C64) was not abandoned, but was wound up after the contract sum was exhausted. This was occasioned by an increase in the scope of works especially the volume of earthworks that had not been anticipated during the design stage. (b) The Ministry has plans to execute the remaining works in the Financial Year 2012/2013."
