"content": "By law, that employer must also pay training levy which currently stands at Kshs50 per employee. That employer must identify the training needs within his operations and develop training programmes. He must also make application to the secretariat which administers training levy and once approval is given, that employer will be reimbursed all monies that he has incurred in training his employees. So, this issue needs to be clarified before we generally talk about training without drawing clear distinction between general training in our tertiary and other form of training and the industrial training which as I have said is distinct and differing in content."
