    "content": "So, during the dry season, KenGen releases some water and the purpose of releasing the water downstream is to sustain the projects that are downstream. We have rice farms downstream such as Bura Irrigation Scheme. That is how they sustain the projects downstream. I am saying that the other four dams are fairly small. Therefore, they are meant to generate electricity for our country. However, Kiambere also regulates the flow of water downstream although it produces electricity for our country."
