The Minister has gone ahead and narrated some scientific jargon, but the question before this House is whether this country and the Government has truly allowed the importation of GMO maize. There has been information in the market that some packets of maize will be marked “GMO” so that ordinary people can choose. That has gone on record. What would necessitate that if, truly, you have not authorized importation of GMO maize?"
