Member from the opposite side of the House mentioned that chairpersons of committees are responsible for moving Bills, and that we should not be absconding from that duty. So, I thought since I am a chairperson of a committee, he might be implying that I am doing so. Hon. Speaker, I am not trying to abscond from the responsibility. I am only trying to have you develop a procedure that does not deviate when it is one chairperson and take another shape when it is another one. We are trying to avoid a situation where the Leader of Majority Party may think that you are compliant but have a different rule for other people. So, my motivation is so that we have a procedure that is not at the whims of anyone who would be in any office at any time."
