Speaker, Sir, the objective of this Bill is to amend the Agriculture, Fisheries and Food crop Act, 2013 so as to extend the commencement period of the Act by a further six months in order to allow for the carrying out of administrative actions, including promulgation of regulations that are necessary to operationalise the Act. This Bill does not touch on issues related to the Fourth Schedule of the country’s Constitution. The Bill only seeks to extend the commencement date. We are not going to discuss the content of the Bill. This Bill does not also concern the county governments---"
