    "content": "Hon. Speaker, Sir, I rise to support this Motion. Given the importance of the agricultural sector, it is important that the entire Act is reviewed and then see what can be done to improve the livelihoods of our people. We all know the importance of this sector and the many people that it engages. It plays a major role in the economy of this country. At times, things are done in a rush or to please certain quarters to the disadvantage of farmers and the people who are involved. So, this will give the Members an opportunity to look at the Act and see what needs to be adjusted and how well it can be done, so that at the end of the day, it is for the benefit of the farmers. I support the extension."
