"content": "Hon. Speaker, Sir, we were trying to meet Constitutional deadlines in terms of legislation with issues relating to agriculture, but I do not think that we met a constitutional deadline. We made it in the wrong way with the wrong legislation. It is not possible for us to collapse all the various sectors of agriculture. Kenya, being an agricultural country, we ought to emphasize and use appropriately our comparative advantage in this part of the world. Kenya can grow anything and we can export anything. It is agriculture that is going to make us be one of the great economies in this particular region. The more boards we have, the best and the merrier."
