    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I come from a sugar cane growing zone and I would not stand here to say that sugar cane must be protected because it covers us. In case of sugar cane it is much easier to get specific services to farmers, for example, road maintenance. However, there are other instances where you might want to have these arrangements on an ecological basis. So, you serve the farmer from a point of view of many aspects that affect the farmer. We will have an interesting debate when the Bill comes up. I support this extension, but urge the Chairman to ascertain whether or not he needs six months or two years. Once we have the extension, we will have enough time to make all the changes and then come back to the House"
