It has been alleged and the Minister may clarify that the current managers at the KAA have demonstrated some level of highhandedness and brutality in promotions and handling of staff. Some of the promotions that have been done are whimsical reactions to the pleasure of the managers. For example, it is being stated - I want the Minister to clarify- that the current Airport Manager who is in charge of ensuring that the facilities at the airport work properly does not have both the qualifications and the experience necessary to undertake to manage a huge facility of that size. Could the Minister clarify how the current Airport Manager was promoted, his experience and qualifications and whether he believes that the manager has the competence to undertake the required maintenance at that facility?"
