"content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, one of the other issues which this Bill seeks to do is that it wants to remove the requirement for renewal of licences every one year. This is so that if you have been licensed as a player you will retain your licence until or unless it is revoked. That is a provision but I think my Committee will consider and see whether we want to agree with that because some quarters believe that that annual renewal gave the Authority an opportunity to monitor those players so that you do not get to know them when you are revoking and when they are already dead. I think at some point we will agree whether we may really want to make it most specifically maybe three years so that we retain those players."
