Deputy Speaker, just about the same time the Statement from the Departmental Committee concerned with education was sought, my good friend, Njenga Kigo of Gatundu requested for a Statement. He wanted to know when, how and where the IDPs of 1991 and 1992 displaced from Enoosupukia, Burnt Forest, Njoro and other places will be settled. He wanted to know when, how, and where the integrated IDPs living all over Kenya will be settled. After consulting with the Ministry of Interior and Co-ordination of National Government, we established that this question can be handled properly by the Ministry of Devolution and Planning. Since this matter is very dear to those very poor Kenyans who have been displaced, I want to confirm that we have redirected this question to the Committee on Finance, Planning and Trade so that they do a better job and settle this matter."
