"content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I wish I spoke when the Leader of the Majority Party was in the House. I wanted to remind him that in politics, there is nothing like retirement. God forbid but if he loses his seat at the end of this term, he will be entitled to pension not because he will have retired from politics but because he will have lost an election. So, it is hurting and dishonest for one to demand that certain politicians should completely retire from politics as a condition for them to be paid their pensions. It is like denying someone his political rights. Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, if there is a chapter that the people of Kenya protected it is the chapter on the Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights is one of the very few chapters that, if you have to amend it, you have to take Kenyans to the referendum---"
