    "content": "The Government set up a task force on the harmonization of hardship areas and allowances in the Public Service in 2002 under the Ministry of State for Public Service. The objective of the task force was to review the new hardship areas and allowances payable to all civil servants working in those areas, including teachers, in order to remove disparities in the payment of hardship allowances."
