    "content": "Of course, the Committee has indicated very clearly that the common mwananchi will not be affected by the amendments they have proposed because the Jubilee Government had made some promises, which they have to accomplish. There were proposals contained in the VAT Bill which had brought a lot of controversies. The Committee has since dealt with those issues. I want to take this opportunity to thank the Chairman and his Committee for the good work they have done."
