Deputy Temporary Speaker, this person has never been compensated for the damages he suffered, yet he is now a person living under the care of his very poor family, and he is not able to carry out the activities of farming as he used to do before. Not limited to that is the fact that elephants, indeed, destroyed his entire farm as well. We are talking about the life of an entire family being destroyed completely beyond repair and, to this day he has not been given any compensation. I know that he is not the only one; there are very many Kenyans who are suffering from similar injuries, permanent damage to their lives and their physical well-being and they have never been compensated by the Kenya Wildlife Service."
