    "content": "Thank you hon. Speaker, Sir for giving me this opportunity again. Pursuant to Standing Order No.44 (2)(c), I wish to request for a Statement from the Chairperson of the Committee on Transport, Public Works and Housing regarding the state of roads in the northern part of the country. The roads are highly depilated and require massive reconstruction and modernization. For instance, the Garissa-Hola-Bura and Garissa-Malindi roads are in deplorable state. In addition, there is no weighbridge to accommodate the required axle load on these roads."
