    "content": "Hon. Chairlady, I believe this is a House that has hon. Members. We have come to this House to play the three roles that have been bestowed upon us by the people of Kenya. One of the components of legislation is the passage of the VAT Bill. Since we came into this House after elections, we have exercised a lot of patience and we have waited for too long for our welfare to be taken care of. I cannot imagine that waiting for one more month or a few more weeks is going to kill the spirit of this House. So, I beseech hon. Members that this is the time that we are being called upon to behave as the leaders we claim to be and allow this matter to be debated. Let us show that respect to this House!"
