    "content": "(b) I am not in a position to confirm that the unscrupulous dealings are prevalent between developers, valuers and banks. This is because the developers, as alluded in “a” above, normally set their prices based on the market forces of demand and supply while the valuers base their valuation on market comparables of sales of similar properties at those exorbitant prices. When the banks finance the purchase of such properties, they have to ensure that the collateral given is adequate to safeguard their interests."
