    "content": "Madam Temporary Speaker, as I support the thought of Sen. Mukite, I would like to move the following amendment. THAT, the Motion be amended by deleting all the words appearing between the words “urges the” and the words “in all” in the ninth and tenth lines and replacing thereof with the words “national Government to establish offices of the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.” I have brought this amendment so that the Motion is more relevant to the existing laws and practices in this profession. We already have a complaints board in place and we do not need to set up another one. All we need to do is to devolve this board to the counties so that it is in line with the new Constitution. This will not only enhance the ability of the Kenyan population to reach this Board quickly but services will be seen to be delivered in good time so that judgments are passed, cases do not accumulate and Kenyans access justice. I have noted that the Mover of the Motion talked about misdiagnosis, wrong decisions, wrong prescriptions and surgical errors. This Board will decide whether the complaint is of ethical nature or what type of complaint it is.
