The Commissioners issued threats that if they were not remunerated to the level they expected they would be forced to carry out some other jobs outside what is expected of them in order to complement or supplement their incomes. Now that the matter has been resolved and the Government has agreed to pay what the Commissioners were demanding, of course, the Government has a right to demand value for money that is being paid, the Government expects these Commissioners to work full time and to deliver on time."
