    "content": "livestock extension officers that can be stationed in the counties where the animals are bred. There was a ban 60 years ago on livestock trade between Kenya and Uganda. Up to now, it has not been unbanned and yet, we can do a lot of business with Uganda. If the Government does not take charge and trade in livestock, some of these petty problems like cattle rustling and so on will continue to be rampant in some areas because we have not been able to control this. We need this sector to generate more money towards our GDP and there is no other time to do it than now. Counties in the North Rift and North Eastern parts of the country need to be given the attention they deserve because this is their livelihood. I beg to move and ask Sen. Hargura to second."
