The money should be used for what it has been raised for. Right from the beginning, the indicators and parameters for the use of that money should be laid out very clearly. It will also be able to protect the agenda for the beneficiary groups or persons. It will also put in place administrative and legal regulations that are going to make it possible for a follow up mechanism to ensure that at the end of the day, harambee collections and its reporting is done in a way that is accountable, in a way that is gracious and in a way that helps harambees to gain the respectability they started with from the beginning.
