    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise on a point of order under Standing Order No.51 (3), which says:- “Despite paragraph (2), the Speaker may, on the request of a Senator, defer the putting of the question to the following day in which case the Speaker shall thereupon nominate a time at which the question shall be put.” Mr. Speaker, Sir, you had determined that today we will vote on this Motion. My memory is not very clear but I thought we would do this at about 3.00 p.m. Considering the seriousness of this Motion and the fact that even during debate there was minimal opposition and since we do not have the necessary quorum to pass the Motion, I would like to request that using your discretion, the vote be deferred to Wednesday next week at 3.00 p.m."
