    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise on Standing Order No. 33(2) to raise a matter of definite and urgent national importance to discuss the national crisis in the country in the education sector following the nationwide industrial action that was declared by the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) on Monday, 24th June, 2013. The strike has led to a complete shutdown of all public primary and secondary schools in the country, culminating into an unprecedented crisis. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I want to request hon. Members to rise in their position if they are in support of this Adjournment Motion on this matter."
