    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I wish to seek a Ministerial Statement from the Minister for Transport on the power outages at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). In the Statement, the Minister should clarify the following: (a) Explain in detail what caused severe outages at the JKIA in the early morning of Sunday 17th July 2011 and the afternoon of Monday 18th July 2011. (b) Provide a detailed log of all power outages at the airport in the past one year indicating dates and durations of such outages and the subsequent interventions that restored normalcy. (c) How much did the country loose in terms of financial, economic and social investment as a result of these outages? (d) What steps is the Minister taking to ensure that such outages do not recur in future? Thank you."
