    "content": "“historical” in my opinion does not limit us to any timeframe. It is only the outcome of this debate that will inform such a Commission on how far back to extend the historical injustice that we are going to discuss because some historical injustices currently being discussed have their basis in pre-colonial era. But I think that is a valid point but all recommendations and points that will be raised on the Floor during debate shall form the basis of the kind of action and the policy that will come from this debate. I do not think that we can limit the word “historical” to only mean 20 or 50 years back. Let us debate it as it is. Now that we have already allowed Sen. Ndiema to move these amendments, you can give your proposal or your points when you are debating on the amendment."
