"content": "Madam Temporary Speaker, I take that information well. But I will still stand by my point that, yes, we do and may have some documents, but it is almost impossible to call up to absolute convictions that any fact adduced here in this House, over this Motion, when it is referring to events that date as far back as 1895, can be absolutely authenticated or affirmed beyond reasonable doubt. Madam Temporary Speaker, having said that, Sen. (Dr.) Machage also said that, indeed, we can dare open the Pandora’s Box and see what is inside there. Bring it on! But if we open that Pandora’s Box, we also must remember that we should open it with responsibility. This is because we must also realize that we are leaders in a nation that is looking at us. Whatever debate or discussions that we hold, have got overbearing reverberations and consequences in the country and population. As a responsible Senate, we should only discuss and pass Motions that we can stand by. Madam Temporary Speaker, I oppose the amendment to the Motion."
