    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I beg to second this Motion realizing that issues of health touch on every mwananchi in this country. The Mover of this Motion is a doctor trained in his own right. Therefore, he knows what he is bringing to this House. I serve in the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare where we were articulating these issues very well. We have come up with a very ample and a tentative summary of what is happening in the country. As he clarified, he is not targeting any region or any political party for any political purpose. This is meant to reach our people with proper facilities. Something that he did not touch that we should remind ourselves of is that in the President’s Inaugural Speech, he talked about the antenatal and postnatal care for our women. I wish this could also be incorporated in this Motion. Health issues are meant for all of us, and I think this Motion has come at a proper time where the Senate is only three months old. If we are concerned and care about the welfare of our people, this is the most appropriate time to discuss health issues. Therefore, I second."
