"content": "(a) Bishop Gilbert Juma Deya who is a resident in the United Kingdom was charged with five counts of child stealing contrary to Section 174(1)(b) of the Penal Code before the Chief Magistrate in Nairobi, Kenya. On 17th July, 2006, the Government of Kenya made a request for extradition to Her Majestyâs Government and Bishop Deya was arrested in London on 28th December, 2006. The extradition hearing took place before the District Judge Tubbs of Westminster Magistrate Court and on 7th November, 2007, the District Judge Tubbs sent the case to the Secretary of State for Home Affairs for a decision to be made."
