Bank account details of the parties were also forwarded to Kenya Urban Roads Authority and payment for compensation is on-going through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). The Kenya Urban Roads Authority has confirmed that the money has been transferred to respective payees account except where individual payees personal and bank details have not been provided. Where there is no competent person to receive payment or the person entitled does not consent to receive the amount awarded or there is a dispute, the Commissioner for Lands will deal with such cases as provided for under Section 31(1) of the Land Acquisition Act."
