    "content": " Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for giving me this opportunity. Like my colleagues before me, first and foremost, I want to thank the people of Mombasa County, which is Kenya’s second biggest city, for voting me in as the inaugural Senator under our new Constitution. Mombasa County is also listed in the Constitution as County No.1. Therefore, constitutionally, Mombasa County has an obligation to be No.1 in terms of providing cutting edge leadership around devolution and many other things within the Senate. Like my previous colleagues, I also want to congratulate hon. Senators for having been elected as Senators of their respective counties. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I want to mention some few things that recapture the national mood in this country. This country has been talking about the generational change.
