Therefore, this does not meet the threshold of regional balance because Northern Kenya is not on this list. There are several Senators from the former North Eastern Province. There is not a single Muslim, yet there are about 11 to 12 Senators in this sitting. I think that omission is fatal, reckless and should be remedied by this august House."
