    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I want to take this opportunity to state that I support the Motion. I want to congratulate all those who have been appointed to this Committee. As observed by the Leader of the Majority Party, this is a very important Committee. It is, therefore, important to consult widely before this kind of a Committee is constituted. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I come from the United Democratic Forum (UDF) party which is represented in this Senate by three hon. Senators. I have just observed that of all the parties that have more than two Senators in this House, it is only UDF that does not have representation on this list. I am not saying that we want any names to be dropped for us to be included, but I just want it to go on record that, in future, as we form other Committees of this House, it is important that this should be observed. As I said, the UDF party has three Members in this Senate and it must be considered when forming important Committees like the Rules and Business Committee. Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir."
