"content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I brought this issue in May. The Committee has tabled its report much later. The issue of availability of seed maize is so critical, especially in Nyanza where I come from. The farmers need to know whether the seeds are available. We need an assurance from the Assistant Minister that these seeds are available. This is a question I asked earlier. What happened here is that because of other business which came up in the House, last week, that Statement was deferred. That is why there has been a delay on delivery of this Statement. So, I really ask for your indulgence to allow me ask a few clarifications from him."
