    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, allow me to move an amendment to the amended Motion as put to us by the Senate Majority Leader. I beg to move:- THAT, the Motion be amended by deleting the whole of Clause 4. This is for the following reasons: If you look at our own Constitution, Section 2(5) says that the general rules of international law shall form part of the law of Kenya. If you look at Section 143(4), it says that the immunity of the President under this Article shall not extend to a crime for which the President may be prosecuted under any treaty to which Kenya is party and which prohibits such immunity.
