    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. Before we proceeded for the recess in August, I sought a Ministerial Statement and a Petition. One is about a road that is purported to be under construction; the Sagana-Kutus-Kerugoya-Karatina Road. I was promised that the Statement would be issued as soon as we resume. Now that we have resumed, I need to be guided whether the Statement will be presented to the House. PLIGHT OF RICE FARMERS AT MWEA SETTLEMENT SCHEME Secondly, Mr. Speaker, Sir, the other issue I sought was on the Mwea Irrigation Scheme which I presented as a Petition from Mwea Farmers. We are yet to be told when these matters will be responded to, so that we keep our people informed."
