    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I stand to support the Motion as amended. This Motion seeks to address the serious issues of health that our people continue to face, particularly in the rural areas. Mr. Speaker, Sir, there are several areas that need to be addressed by this Board. While we are decentralizing, they also need to up their activities and report to the public. I have in mind issues of diagnosis. In many areas, there are laboratories that have sprung up which purport to give diagnosis but in most cases give wrong diagnosis, patients end up being treated for wrong ailments and by the time such mistakes are discovered, it is too late. I think something should be done. There is also the issue of fake medicines or counterfeit medicines which have flooded the market. Every day we hear about such issues."
