"content": "give them; we involve them in issues and empower them. As much as they take care of people, they are part of the problem and the solution as well. They should be engaged well since they are the ones on the ground. Some of them know who the cattle rustlers are. We should train them on how well to use guns and ensure that there is security in our villages. When we talk about remuneration, we know what money does to us. It motivates us. We know that money motivates us and helps us do our work well and to protect the people back home. I support this Motion. If our communities are not well protected, whom will we have to lead? If people keep on dying and others getting hurt, we will not be trustworthy. People back home will not trust us. We must ensure that these people are well trained, empowered and engaged well. They are the people on the ground and know who the thugs are. Some of them even sell their uniform and become part of the gangs. However, if we empower them and make them part of the solution, such things will not take place. If we must remain safe and free, an organized KPR and KPS is the answer to our security. We have the Kiganjo Police Training College. We should expand this college and have our KPR officers trained there. We should motivate them, make them feel appreciated and make them part of our security plan the way we want it. I support."
