    "content": "Madam Temporary Speaker, I stand here to support this Motion and also applaud my colleagues, Senators, for the very valuable contributions they have made to this Motion. This Motion calls upon the Registrar of Political Parties to immediately release funds to political parties in accordance with the Act and the Constitution. When this Act was enacted, the whole idea was to strengthen political parties. Unfortunately, those of us who run parties have gone round to defeat the principles of the Act which was to strengthen them and by extension reduce their numbers. As long as we have so many parties, we will have so many ideologies which are not real but just meant to confuse the other party, and Sen. G. G. Kariuki is very clear on what I am saying.
