Vice Chairperson explain why it is the police reservists who responded to the attacks and who, as she said, were involved in a heavy exchange of gunfire with the raiders and not the regular police force? This is important because the Kenya Police Reservists (KPR) are the people who volunteer to serve; they are not paid, they do not have adequate training and sometimes they do not even have good weapons. So, it is always a concern – and this is why recently we had this issue of their terms raised – so, could she kindly explain why it is the police reservists who were involved in that heavy exchange of gunfire and not a single security force of this country?"
