    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I agree with the direction you have taken. I think the general public should be informed. I think that is very important. The Ministry, at the moment, is allowing universities and institutions to admit students and the large majority believe that once they complete those courses, they will become teachers and will be eligible to be employed by the TSC. You have heard from the Chair that the only way they enforce this policy is to wait until students complete the examinations. The KNEC then refuses to mark the examinations. That is very unfair. This should be taken up by the Chair of the Committee and the Ministry of Education to ensure that the general public is notified in good time so that they do not make mistakes that they will regret in future."
